Discovery and Onboarding

Last updated October 21, 2026

Start with a managed-services conversation and preliminary agreement to proceed. We inventory the environment, assess Heavenly IT Standards, identify remediation or approved TRA exceptions, and then finalize the Service Order and managed-services agreement before onboarding.

What we inventory

  • Users and identity accounts
  • Managed computers/endpoints
  • Servers
  • Firewalls
  • Switches
  • Wireless access points/controllers
  • UPS/power-protection devices where relevant
  • Printers and large multifunction/large-format devices where managed
  • Microsoft 365/cloud services
  • Business-critical applications
  • Websites, domains, and DNS where relevant
  • Backup systems and retention
  • Security tooling
  • Phone/VoIP systems where relevant
  • Internet circuits/ISPs
  • Vendors, warranties, and support contracts
  • Administrative access and ownership
  • Physical network/rack infrastructure
  • Any other technology the client expects Heavenly IT to support

Assessment outcomes

State Meaning
Meets Heavenly IT Standards Eligible for normal managed scope.
Remediation required Corrective work is needed. Minor items may be scheduled; critical items require immediate remediation.
TRA / approved exception Client knowingly accepts a defined exception that Heavenly IT agrees to continue managing under documented conditions.
Outside manageable scope Risk or access limitations are too severe for Heavenly IT to reasonably manage.

Managed service may begin while noncritical deficiencies are being corrected. However, critical infrastructure, endpoint, system, software, hardware, identity, or security deficiencies require immediate remediation or a deliberate exception if Heavenly IT is willing to permit one. Corrective/remediation labor performed by Heavenly IT is billable unless specifically included by agreement.

Onboarding project payments

25% to begin.

50% when the project reaches active changes/training.

Final 25% at completion.

Achieved milestones are earned. Client cancellation stops future work but does not erase earned milestones.

If Heavenly IT cancels after work begins, the initial earned work remains payable; uncompleted future milestones are voided.

Long client-caused delays may justify remobilization/repricing.

Do not include passwords, secrets or sensitive evidence. Requests are stored for follow-up.
